Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At StartupSphere, we connect buyers with independent vendors. Because products are sold by different sellers, return policies may vary slightly by vendor, but the following general rules apply.


1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return if:

  • The item was delivered damaged
  • The wrong item was sent
  • The item is defective
  • The product “Significantly Not as Described”

Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.


2. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Used or worn products
  • Perishable goods
  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Digital products or downloads
  • Items marked β€œFinal Sale”

3. How to Request a Return

To start a return:

  1. Contact us via the support page or email
  2. Provide:
    • Order number
    • Photos or videos of the issue
    • Description of the problem

Our team will review and contact the vendor.


4. Refund Process

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method (Paystack)
  • Processing time: 3–7 business days after approval
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the seller made an error

5. Vendor Responsibility

Vendors on StartupSphere are responsible for:

  • Accurate product descriptions
  • Proper packaging
  • Resolving disputes fairly

We may intervene if disputes cannot be resolved.


6. Return Shipping

  • Buyer pays return shipping unless the seller is at fault
  • Items must be returned in original condition

7. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before shipping.
Once shipped, the return process applies.


8. Fraud Protection

We reserve the right to refuse refunds for abuse, false claims, or suspicious activity.
